• Review seafarer’s planning and requirements • Review and update seafarer deployment procedures in accordance with the Standards for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) requirements and industry standards. • Ensures quality control, performance management related input and advice. • Review crewing related expenditure and ensure compliance with vessels' budgets. • Leads a team to manage crewing requirements of a fleet of vessels. • Engages with seafarers and families to improve association and resolves grievances. • Independent management in relation to retention of crew – both officers and ratings.
